Cub Party & Camp

Saturday 19^th  & Sunday 20^th November – Party Camp

We are planning to hold a 24 hour camp at our HQ in Rectory Lane over the above weekend, starting and finishing at 10.30 am.

The event will include a number of indoor and outdoor games, activities and challenges (football, softball, rope bridge, wide game, film, party games, fire lighting etc). The evening meal will be Pizza from Pizza Hut.

We would like to include friends of existing Cubs to join us for this event. With the hope that by trying a Cub event they may then wish to join the pack. So we would be grateful if you could help to publicise this event and encourage friend of cubs to give it a try (Cub age is 7.5-10). We just need to know their name, address, age and email so that we can get kit list and health forms to them nearer the date.

Cubs will need a sleeping bag for the event but no special equipment is needed so please do not buy anything extra just for this event. We will arrange for a full kit list and medical form to be sent to those Cubs (and friends) who want to attend.

The reason for choosing our HQ is that it is very local, and should any Cub/friend not wish to stay, or develop a bad case of home sickness, then it is very easy for them to be collected (that said, when we have run similar events no one has ever asked to go home)

The cost of the event will be £15 each. Money should be paid by cheque (payable to 1^st Foots Cray Scout Group) There is a maximum number of young people that we can accommodate and therefore if you would like to secure a place then please let us know by email/text/phone as soon as possible, and then return the form at the next meeting. 

Finally to put any minds at ease; depending on the temperature and weather we may be “camping” inside.
