Remembrance Sunday Service
Sunday 13th November - 09.30 – 11.10
The Group will be supporting this act of remembrance by attending the annual service at All Saints Church, Rectory Lane, Foots Cray.
This is one of only two events in the year when we ask all parents to make an extra special effort to ensure that their children support the Group and local community.
The service is open to all, and parents and family are welcome to join us.
Please meet at All Saints Church for 9.20am. Cubs and Scouts should be in full uniform (include black shoes). Coates will not be worn unless raining heavily, so please ensure that your child has sufficient layers of clothing under their uniform shirt to stay warm.
After the service (at approx 10.30am) the Group parade to the Memorial for the two minute silence and laying of wreaths. The event will end around 11.10am and children should be collected from the memorial at this time.
If there is an exceptional reason why your child will not be supporting us at this event then please let one of the leaders know before the event.
If you arrive late for the service then please enter the church quietly, the Group will be sitting in the front pews with parents/family behind.
