Queen's 90th Birthday Celebration lunch

Queen's 90th Birthday Celebration

Some 40 local residents from Sidcup and the surrounding area took part in the Queen's 90th birthday celebration lunch held at 1st Foots Cray Scout Hall on Saturday 11th June.

This fundraising event was organised by All Saints Church in Rectory Lane, who hired the Scout Hall and grounds for the event.

As a special surprise for one couple, whose wedding anniversary coincided with the event, All Saints provided a celebratory cake to mark the joint occasion.

1st Foots Cray Scout Group is one of the oldest Scout Groups in the London Borough of Bexley, having provided scouting activities for local youngsters for over 100 years. When not in use by the Scouts our Scout Hall is available for hire to local community groups.
