Young Leader Awarded Deputy Lord Lieutenant’s Certificate

A massive congratulation to Explorer Scout and Young Leader James D, who has been confirmed as a recipient of the Deputy Lord Lieutenant’s Certificate. 

One of only five members from the whole of Bexley Scouting to be awarded this prestigious recognition which aims to give suitable recognition to the achievements of best cadets and young people within each of the London Boroughs who are part of YOU London Organisations and to create an awareness of their contribution within the community.

In addition to being part of Excalibur Explorer Scout Unit, which is co-hosted at our Scout Group, James has also been a Young Leader working in the Cub section for several years. As well as being part of the leadership team at Cubs and attending weekly meetings he has also organised a number of weekend and evening events. James is now working as a Young Leader in the Scout Section and has recently completed his Duke of Edinburg Silver Award.James has also supported scouting nationally at London events for the past years.Well done and thank you for all the help and hard work you have put in and time donated to the Group.
