Frylands Weekend Camp

1st Foots Cray Cubs and Scouts will be participating in a weekend camp which will take place at Frylands Wood Scout Outdoor Centre.

This weekend camp is being organised by the Frylands Wood Scout Outdoor Centre. Activities available are likely to include abseiling, archery, challenges, climbing, games, inflatables, rifle shooting, quad bikes and other activities.

If you have initially replied saying that you would/would not like a place, please can you re-confirm this by clicking on the link in the email that would have been sent to you through the My.Scout and Online Scout Manager website and then make arrangements for the payments through that website. The relevant page can be accessed through the link without needing to sign in.

The cost per Cub/Scout for this weekend camp is £50.00

The weekend camp runs from the evening of Friday 2 May through to mid-day on Monday 5 May. Parents will need to arrange own transport for their child to and from the event.

The Scout Group is also looking for some parents to join us on this weekend camp. The number of Cubs and Scouts that we can take on the camp will depend on the number of parents that can help out, in order to maintain the correct ratio of children to adults. So places may have to be restricted if we do not get sufficient parent volunteers.

If you would like to help out please do let us know. There are a number of tasks which parents can help out with, including food preparation, cooking, supervision of groups on the various activities etc. You never know you may even get to try out some of the activities yourself! Frylands Wood Scout Camp is located on Featherbed Ln in New Addington, Croydon, Surrey CR0 9AA. The main entrance is on Featherbed Lane, one mile south east of the junction with Court Wood Lane, 300 yards past Farleigh Dean Crescent if coming from the New Addington/Croydon direction.
